Industrial Water Softeners
Why Is Water Softening Important?
Our clients continue to incorporate water softeners in their water management programs to pretreat makeup water in cooling towers and boilers, as well as other critical systems such as domestic potable water intake and manufacturing process equipment. This initial pretreatment helps prevent minerals from building scale and restricting water flow.
Facilities have long relied on Industrial water softeners to:
- Prevent scale and corrosion causing minerals.
- Increase cooling and heating equipment’s energy efficiency
- Extend equipment life
- Reduce chemical use (for instance scale inhibitors)
- Lower water use by reducing blowdown and bleed.
